building progress

the builders finished today - only started on Tuesday so that's not bad!
We now have a new-sized loungeroom and bedroom, both expanded by the loss of a useless entryway and passage. And the builder has said that John did so much of the work for him that, if we agree to do the painting, then we won't actually have to part with any cash at all. Yippee!
We're going out tomorrow to look for the ceramic tiles for the floors - essential we choose these first so we can then decide on colour schemes for paint, curtains, etc.
Photos have been taken during the process and I'll try to get them up on the website with a link soon-ish. I'm in the middle of BAS-time so spare moments are limited. I'm guessing the before-and-afters will be the most startling!
