I've put the bumblebee on hold for a short while as I produce jumpers for the girls.

The first one, for Alix, is striped in white and space-dyed pink/purple (the yarn I used for her zip-up jacket) and the second, for Sami, is white and the same space-dyed blue/green Mum used for her zip-up jacket. The other difference is that Alix's is completely knitted whereas Sami's will have knitted cuffs and bands but crocheted body as per the pattern she found. Alix's has a basket-weave pattern in the white stripes for interest.

I've actually made up the pattern for Alix's jumper using a kids' pattern from my Creative Needles set and working out the increases on the fly. I'm almost finished - have about 10 rows of the second sleeve to do and then sew it up. I'll post a picture of it as soon as possible.

If any of the crafty crowd out there would like to give me some critique of my roughly written down patternit's here ).

I'm not sure if it make sense and would appreciate some comments. Is there somewhere to publish knitting patterns? Wouldn't mind sharing this one as it looks very pretty.

Here are some things we have managed to achieve this week:

Successfully relocated dishwasher and installed pull-out metal racks in place of kitchen shelving.

Created a ghod-awful mess in the process which is gradually being cleared away - but my kitchen is coming together nicely.

Got 4 new clients.

Watched first three episodes of the new series of Torchwood (am waiting for series one boxed set to come down in price before I buy it)

Organised a 3br apartment at Novotel Lake Crackenback Resort for the whole family (John & Me, Sami & Alix, Mum & Dad and Mum's sister Gwen and her hubby who will be visiting from the UK soon) for the Canberra Day long weekend - using a free-weekend voucher we'd been given

Finally managed to get Adobe Reader for PalmOS to work on my LifeDrive and read the first two books of Maria V Snyder's "Study" trilogy (can thoroughly recommend BTW)

Have already done at least 7 of my BAS reports

Got around to setting up my iBook in the lounge-room next to my chair and connected to the household network so I can do imdb and lj stuff without banishing myself to the other end of the house.

Finished Alix's new jumper and wrote out the pattern.

Started Sami's new jumper.

So. Howzat for a week, then!
