The last one is particularly amusing for me as Brooks is an Adelaide girl who sets her girl PI, Cassidy Blair, in the well-worn streets of my old town. It's the first of 4 so far. I have the others on order from the library.

Thank every deity that we have less than three weeks left to this bloody election.

If I hear one more bloody stupid slogan from the Liberal party or boast from the Labor party I may just refuse to pay for my TV licence (well, if we actually paid for them - or even had TV licences, that is) and watch nothing but DVDs for the remaining time.
