Buying stuff overseas
Nov. 6th, 2008 05:38 pmMy Palm died last week and we have had a really frustrating time getting it working again. Because it's a LifeDrive it has a 4Gb internal HDD rather than the flash memory cards most of the PDAs use. Gahh! Can't get one in Australia for love nor money so we had to widen our search. John found this great website and we've ordered it in:

hopefully be here within a fortnight via UPS (have to remember not to delete those UPS emails that look like scams!) and we can get on the road again! It's a real pain not having the Palm - really my lifeline as it is diary, address book and invoice tool in one (and of course it holds large numbers of ebooks too). Actually, John has nobly sacrificed his - so it's actually him who is waiting for the new drive to arrive.
