I've mentioned in a couple of places that we're having a holiday soon. From 23rd May to 14th June we are not going to be going to the office or taking business calls. Doctors orders. I believe the neologism is "staycation" - where you have a holiday but don't go anywhere.
As the kids are in school we can't actually go away - except for the Queen's Birthday long weekend when we're going down to Tomakin with the Morrisons - so we're concentrating on getting the rest of the house decorating finished. We still have most of the door and window frames left to gloss, as well as the kitchen to do all over. I was hoping to get the primer for the tiles and laminate but apparently it's quite expensive so that may have to wait for the cash flow situation to improve.
Anyway, I'm planning to finish up some yarn projects, start some new ones and make the covers for the lounge room furniture. Also some day-tripping - coffee, lunch, some museums n stuff. But a sincere effort at mental rest.
