Dinner out

Last night we had dinner at The Punjabi Hut at Erindale (they have another place in Queanbeyan also). Us, the girls and the in-laws. Food was really nice (except that the Butter Chicken was inordinately sweet - weird) and tasty; spices nicely balanced and not over-hot for the girls. Much better than the Chalisa in Tuggeranong where John & I went a few weeks back. Looking forward to our next visit, lots on the menu tempted us. Am now inspired tostart teaching the girls some Indian recipes - they've got nori rolls down pat now - hmmm, my butter chicken and kulfi might be good places to start. Wanders off to check spice cupboard......
