Knitting a Bumblebee

My favourite nephew advised at xmas that he and his wife are expecting their first sometime in late July.
So I am currently knitting a Bumblebee Babysuit which looks really cute. It's likely to be rather big for a newborn but will be perfect once kid is a bit bigger and autumn comes around in March/April.
I'm using this as a rest-break from the fair-isle sweater I'm doing for the girls (one each) to use up the yarn I got for their zip-up jackets. Really have to work out how to post some pictures seeing as how I'm being all productive and stuff.

Date: 2008-01-06 01:22 pm (UTC)My sister's middle son and his wife have two now - a boy and a girl - so I'm a great-aunt already. Her eldest and youngest aren't going to be supplying her with grandchildren so that's her lot I'm thinking!
This is the next oldest nephew - my elder brother's elder boy - and then there's a gap before my younger brother's girl whom I don't expect to be sprouting for a while.
But I'm definitely working on the "great" bit. I've finished the front of the bumblebee and now have to work on the fair-isles a bit before I finish the back.
